Peter Moore

Peter Moore has been choreographing fights professionally for more than 30 years. He has worked both on Broadway (The Lion King and Marlowe) and Off-Broadway (Sweet Prince with Keir Dullea at Theater Off-Park, The Rover at New York Theatre Ensemble and A Cry of Players at Trinity Theatre). He has staged numerous fights for the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, including Othello, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Thief River and the American premier of His Girl Friday with Angela Basset and Courtney Vance. Other regional credits include the La Jolla Playhouse, Dallas Theatre Center, Opera Omaha and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. He was the stunt coordinator for the films Factotum with Matt Dillon, Embrace of the Vampire with Alyssa Milano, Old Explorers with James Whitmore and Jose Ferrer, Arnold Park, Herman USA and TV spots for Buffalo Wild Wings and the Minnesota Wild hockey franchise. A former collegiate champion saber fencer for Penn State, he has taught stage combat at the Guthrie, the University of Minnesota, Carlton College, St. Olaf College, Arizona State, Wellesley College and New York’s Trinity Theater.
